TABLE OF CONTENTS
Overview
Veneers are a dental treatment for broken, chipped, stained, discoloured, or misshapen teeth. It involves using a material, such as resin, porcelain, and ceramics, to set a polished and shaped thin layer over your teeth. This treatment is one of the most popular dental services offered in Turkey, with the procedure available for a tooth, a set of teeth, or full teeth.
When the procedure is done on the whole surface of the teeth, it’s called full veneers. Whether fixing a tooth or a set of teeth, you’re treated to the same premium services in Turkey, from consultation to the installation process. You can initiate the consultation process online with Turkish dental clinics and send photos of your smile from different angles and available x-ray photos.

Types Of Dental Veneers
Veneers Turkey are made with different materials, each with specific advantages. In the following headings, we highlight and detail the types of Turkey teeth veneers.
Empress Veneers
These are madefrom ceramics pressed into multiple layers, with the unique characteristic of appearing quite natural. The ceramics imitate the natural clearness of the teeth and are perfect for patients looking to fix permanently misshapen, crooked, stained, or discoloured teeth.
Empress Veneers can withstand lots of compression, from manufacture to after installation.
Hence, they’re regarded as one of the most durable materials for inlays, dental crowns, and onlays.
E-max Veneers
E-max has its materials made from the same glass-based ceramics as Empress, guaranteeing the same translucency and natural teeth look. It’s one of the most popular choices in Turkey, fixing misshapen, discoloured, and malformed teeth. The material takes about three days to manufacture, and you can select your specifications, from the colour to etchings, for the best possible smile restoration. It has an edge over Empress veneers as it is more durable, having twice the strength of it.
Lumineers
With most other materials, the dentist will need to roughen the surface of the affected teeth before placing the veneers.
Lumineers, on the other hand, are applied directly as they’re super-thin porcelain veneers with fine polishing.
The material is virtually transparent, making the perfect fix for teeth discolouration, stains, and minor gaps.
However, it’s important to know that these lumineers can’t fix teeth cracks, chips, and other serious damage.
How Much Do Veneers Cost In Turkey?
Turkey teeth veneer price is quite affordable, compared to other developed countries with top dental care.
Prices of veneers typically depend on the type you’re getting, the dental clinic it’s happening, the reputation of the dentist, and how the affected area you want the material fixed. You can be charged per tooth if the damage to your smile is minimal, and you can get a Turkey veneers holiday package if you’re looking to get a full veneers set. In the following headings, we highlight the different types of veneers in Turkey and the average price of each.
Empress Veneers
The almost-natural look and durability of the Empress set make it quite coveted among patients. Its uses are many, including dental stains, crooked teeth, cracked teeth, chipped teeth, discoloured teeth, tooth gaps, and unevenly sized teeth. They’re quite durable and can withstand huge forces after installation. The average price to fix the Empress material per tooth is £200
Lumineers
As thin white porcelain veneers, these are an excellent option for fixing teeth discolouration, gaps, and tiny teeth. The application is also much easier, requiring no teeth roughing, and is guaranteed to last for over three years when taken care of. As such, lumineer installed on a tooth has an average price of £245. Although more expensive than the Empress material, you can’t use lumineers for fixing teeth cracks, chips, and fractures.
Emax Veneers
The material used in Emax is ceramic-based, similar to Empress, guaranteed to give you a natural and translucent smile. It’s a popular choice among patients, giving you the freedom to decide how well-etched and white you want the veneers. They’re more durable and reputed to be twice as strong as Empress. Installation of this for one tooth costs an average of £200.
Zirconium Crowns
Zirconium is made from Zirconium oxide, which is a variant of ceramics stronger than porcelain and a few metal alloys. These zirconium crowns are a modern cosmetic material used in the dental world for their high durability and natural look. They’re preferred for their low to rare allergy reactions and are of excellent biocompatibility. The best part of these Zirconium crowns is how affordable they are at an average price of £160 per tooth.

Why Are Dental Veneers Cheaper In Turkey?
Typically, dental service charges in Turkey are about 70% lower in cost compared to countries in Europe and North America. This cheap cost is not an indicator of subpar services. It just means that dentists are professionally trained at lower costs. Also, dental clinics are operated at far cheaper costs thanks to tax deductions for medical facilities imposed by the government.

How Long Does It Take To Have Veneers In Turkey?
Depending on the type of veneers you want installed, the process from making your preferred veneer to installation can take up to two weeks. Within these two weeks, you may need up to four appointments with the dentist. These appointments will cover your oral treatment before installation to post-installation care.
Computer Modelling
This is the earliest stage during veneer installation, where a 3D model of your teeth after the installation will be designed. The simulation is to help you make the desired specifications and corrections you want with the veneers.
Preparing For Dental Veneers
Except when done with lumineers, a thin layer of your enamel is ground off and roughened to prepare your teeth for the veneers. This is to ensure the adhesive material that will hold the veneers stays in place. If this process elicits any pain, the dentist will administer local anaesthesia.
Temporary Onlays
These are temporary linings made specially for the purpose of the patient getting used to the permanent veneers. It’s also a great tool to help protect the roughened teeth from sensitive materials or damage. In addition, they help the dentist know if there should be adjustments or changes made to the permanent veneers.
Dental Veneers Installation
When the veneers are done, the temporary onlays are removed. The permanent veneers are then installed with a special adhesive and a curing light to harden the adhesive. Excess materials are shaved off, and the veneers are polished to the patient’s taste.
Dental Veneers or Crowns?
These options serve different purposes in dental care. For instance, veneers can improve the aesthetic aspects of your teeth and fix some minor issues, like gaps, discolourations, and chips. On the other hand, crowns cover the entire tooth to fix quite significant damages, from caries to holes. Crowns are also more expensive than veneers.
How to take care of your veneers after they’re placed
- Unlike other dental procedures, the recovery process doesn’t take an extended amount of time. Instead, once the veneers are cemented on, and any anesthetics wear off, you can eat and chew as you normally would.
- While the anesthetic is wearing off, be conscious of not chewing on your cheeks or tongue.
- In some cases, immediately after the veneers are applied, you may notice that they feel a little rough. These rough spots (usually from extra cement that can adhere to the veneer) wear down after several days of normal eating and teeth brushing. If they don’t, your dentist can smooth them out.
- Traditional porcelain veneers typically last at least 10 years (and some research suggests that they can sometimes last as long as 20 years), and no-prep veneers last around 5 to 7 years.
Taking certain precautions can help make sure that you get the longest lifespan out of them as possible.
These precautions include:
- Don’t chew on hard objects like pens, ice, or your fingernails.
- Never use your teeth to open packaging.
- Try not to chew with your front teeth.
- Eat harder foods with your back teeth only; cut up hard foods so that this is possible.
- If you grind or clench your teeth at night, get a splint or retainer to protect your veneers.
- If you play sports, you should wear a mouth guard.
- If you grind or clinch your teeth, you should get a mouth guard or retainer.
